Could feel things weren't back to normal for the first half of the week after the Mallow 10mile race as my heart rate was a little higher then normal. However, things are returning to normal again now :)

Tis all done now. the hardest thing will be getting up there- not exactly the easiest place to get too ;-). Hope you have your nutrition strategy sorted. As for a time I wouldn't push too hard for a specific time like sub 5.40- it puts a lot of pressure on you for a race as unpredictable like a ultra. I still think a sub 6 hour would be a brilliant run. I suppose conserve the energy for the first 2/3 of the race and see what's left then.
